Nagaland Bible College, Mokokchung, held its 44th Graduation Service on April 24 at Discovery Hall, celebrating the accomplishments of 21 graduating students from various theological programs. The graduation ceremony marked a significant milestone for the students who completed their respective degrees, including eight from the Master of Divinity (M.Div), one from the Master of Ministry (M.Min), four from the Bachelor of Theology (B.Th), five from the Bachelor of Ministry (B.Min), and three who earned Certificates in Intercultural Studies.


The conferring of degrees and commissioning was led by Dr. Sentila Ao, Principal of Nagaland Bible College. Alongside the conferral of degrees, the college also recognized students for their academic and personal excellence through a series of awards.

In the M.Div program, Ms. Rongchennungla emerged as the standout graduate, receiving both the 2025 Academic Excellence Award and departmental awards in Biblical Studies, Mission Studies, and Religion and Society.

Mr. Nuho Kumar received departmental awards in Christian Ministry, Church History, and Theology and Ethics, in addition to the Practical Ministry Award.

In the B.Th category, Mr. Thawng Tha Thang earned the Academic Excellence Award and departmental awards in Biblical Studies, Theology and Ethics, and Church History. Ms. Sentimongla received departmental honours for Christian Ministry, Mission Studies, and Religion and Society.

Other notable awards included the 2025 Bible Knowledge Award, presented to Mr. Lemman Ronrang and Jungtila (M.Div), and Mr. Thawng Tha Thang (B.Th); the Best Character Award went to Ms. Leya Konyak (B.Min); the Most Hard-Working Award to Mr. Nokphong Konyak (M.Min); and the Most Improved Student Award to Ms. Henthai B Phom (B.Min). The Homiletics Award was presented to Mr. Meyiwapong Longkumer (M.Div) and Mr. Sagar Sonar (B.Min).

Delivering the valedictory address on behalf of the graduating class, Mr. Nuho Kumar (M.Div-III) reflected on the journey and growth of the graduates, while the academic awards were presented by Sam Santhosh Kumar, Academic Dean of Nagaland Bible College.
