In the recently declared Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Examination 2025 results by the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE), two students from Queen Mary Higher Secondary School, Mokokchung have secured positions in the Top 10 state rankings, bringing pride to the district.

Zuluienla T Jamir secured the 2nd rank in the Arts stream, while Lemsemchila stood at 4th position in the Science stream, making Queen Mary Hr Sec School one of the few institutions in Nagaland to feature toppers across multiple streams.

In the Arts stream, Vikhono Senotsu of Government Higher Secondary School, Jotsoma topped the state in the Arts stream, marking a historic milestone — the first time a government school student has secured the top rank in the HSSLC examination.

In the Science stream, Snigdha Mukherjee of St. John Hr. Sec. Residential School, Dimapur secured the top rank, followed by Neiseinuo Suohu of Don Bosco Hr. Sec. School, Kohima.

Meanwhile, the Commerce stream was led by Arti Kumari and Prince Kumar Prasad, both from Ram Janaki Hr Sec School, Dimapur, who secured the first and second ranks respectively.
