Mokokchung, 16 February (MTNews): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Nagaland State comprising of 60 members including the 12 BJP legislators are camping in Delhi to attend the National Convention scheduled to be held on 17 and 18 February 2024 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, an update from the BJP State Media Department received here said.

Meanwhile, the Nagaland BJP team led by State President Benjamin Yepthomi paid a courtesy visit and called on Anurag Singh Thakur, Union Minister for I&B, Youth Affairs & Sports, and Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Minister of State for Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, E&IT in New Delhi today.

During the brief interaction with the State team, both the ministers expressed their appreciation towards the positive growth of BJP Nagaland under the young and dynamic leadership of State President Benjamin Yepthomi, the update said. They further encouraged the State Team to stay fully committed and work towards the fulfillment of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Sabka Sath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas, it added.

“BJP Nagaland State also placed on record that this is the first time a huge number of Karyakartas from the State has ever attended such a big Convention of the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Nation’s Capital New Delhi under a State President,” the update said.
