The Government of Nagaland on Wednesday announced the appointment of Chingwang Konyak and Apong Pongener as Advisors (Political) to the Chief Minister, granting them the status of Cabinet Ministers with immediate effect.
The notification, issued by the Cabinet Secretariat on November 27, also revoked Konyak’s earlier appointment as Chairman of the People’s Democratic Alliance (PDA) Coordination Committee, which he held in the status of a Cabinet Minister since April 13, 2023.
