Mokokchung, 3 November (MTNews): In an appeal to the residents of the 43 Tapi AC, the Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC) called upon voters to make an informed choice by supporting their candidate, Wanglem Konyak, in the upcoming election.
While recognizing the overwhelming noise generated by their opponents through “state-sponsored electoral campaigns”, the NPCC emphasized that their primary focus is to offer the electorate a strong, honest, and responsible representative in the august assembly.
“The government of the day’s amusing habit of waking up from their slumber only during elections is a well-known phenomenon, and they appear to have managed to live up to their reputation this time too,” the NPCC stated.
They questioned the necessity of deploying every Member of Parliament, Minister, Advisor, and Legislator to the Tapi Constituency now if the government had been adequately proactive in its governance.
“We have faith in your wisdom to see through this now familiar politics of deceit and corruption, and Vote for the progress and development of your constituency,” the NPCC added.
