Mokokchung, 4 October (MTNews): The Nagaland Football Association (NFA) has issued a notice regarding the absence of several players from the Santosh Trophy 2023 Trial Camp.
At least 16 players are reported to have not attended the selection trial camp “without prior intimation or obtaining proper permission.”

The NFA has asked these players to either appear in person or provide a written explanation for their absence within the next seven days. Additionally, they are expected to provide a valid reason justifying why disciplinary action should not be taken against them.

The 16 players include James Kithan, Temjen Longkumer, Kevisalie Sechu, Merensang Pongen, Nyithong Magh, Petevizo Kezie-O, Rhitso Mero, Lalpureiyang Pamei (Aloumai), Kekhrie Tsira, Sinlo Kent, Hekato, Victor, Hemping, Alumse, Awang Renta, and Benrithung Benri.
