The Nagaland Law Students’ Federation (NLSF) successfully inducted its newly elected members at the Red Cross Conference Hall, Kohima. The handing and taking over of files was conducted between Tohuka Achumi (Outgoing President) and Neivisielie Rino (Incoming President).

Presidential speeches were delivered by both the incoming and outgoing Presidents. In his address, Incoming President Neivisielie Rino pledged to uphold the Constitution and Bye-laws of the Federation. He committed to lead with integrity, wisdom, and fairness, ensuring that his actions are guided by the principles of justice, equality, and transparency.

Rino also issued a call to action, urging all members to join him in this collective endeavor. He emphasized the need to leverage shared strengths and expertise to achieve the Federation’s goals and contribute meaningfully to building a more just and equitable society.

As part of the program, the incoming team presented certificates of appreciation to all former executives in recognition of their selfless service to the Federation.

Outgoing President Tohuka Achumi, in his farewell speech, reflected on his experiences during his tenure and encouraged the new executives to uphold the spirit of teamwork and brotherhood.

A short message was also delivered by Mankhat N Konyak, Assembly Secretary, who congratulated the outgoing team for successfully concluding their term. He noted that the outgoing executives were among the fortunate ones to have celebrated the Federation’s 25th Silver Jubilee during their tenure. Konyak also congratulated the newly elected executives and called for unity and cooperation for the smooth functioning of the Federation.

The ceremony concluded with a mass prayer.
