Two representatives from Nagaland are participating in a four-day Leadership Programme for Urban Leaders being held in Kochi, Kerala from October 29 to November 1.
Assistant Director of Municipal Affairs, Nagaland, Tinuakum Longchar, and Deputy Chairperson of Mokokchung Municipal Council, Lanuakum, are attending as part of the Nagaland cohort, represented by the Directorate of Municipal Affairs, Kohima, and the Mokokchung Municipal Council.
This is the second meeting of the urban leaders, following an earlier session held in New Delhi in August this year.
Organised by Praja Foundation, the programme focuses on strengthening urban leadership, improving municipal governance and building more responsive and accountable city governments.
