A Webinar on “AI Applications in Academia” was conducted by the Department of Environmental Science, Nagaland University, on April 25 with Dr. Ujjal Marjit, Head of the Centre for Information Resource Management, University of Kalyani, India, as the resource person.

The webinar examined the ways in which artificial intelligence is transforming research in a number of fields, an update from the University said. The resource person deliberated on how AI may be used for data analysis, predictive modeling, hypothesis development, literature review automation, and more. A number of AI tools and their uses were showcased.

“All things considered, it was an engaging examination of AI’s potential to improve the effectiveness and significance of scientific research and academics,” the update said.

Chaired by Prof. Ashutosh Tripathi, Head of the department of Environmental Science, the webinar was attended by 117 participants from Nagaland University’s faculty, research scholars, and student groups. Dr. Latonglila Jamir, associate professor, department of Environmental Science, coordinated and conducted the webinar.
