South Korean game developer KRAFTON’s India arm has announced the selection of the first cohort for its KRAFTON India Gaming Incubator (KIGI) – Nagaland’s ReDimension Games, and Shura Games.

This selection holds significant importance with the inclusion of Nagaland’s ReDimension Games, marking a milestone for the state’s gaming sector.

ReDimension Games has captured attention with its development of “Sojourn Past,” an action-adventure game slated for release in 2024.

Shura Games, the second startup chosen for the cohort, introduces “Spice Secrets,” a mobile game blending culinary adventures with puzzle challenges, targeting a diverse audience.

As part of the incubation program, KRAFTON has pledged funds of $50,000 to $150,000 for the complete duration, providing crucial support for the selected startups’ growth and development. This initiative aligns with KRAFTON’s broader commitment to the Indian gaming and entertainment sector, with a previously announced investment of $150 million over the next two to three years.

“We are happy to announce that we are part of the Krafton Incubator Program! We are looking forward to the new journey and new opportunities that lie ahead!” shared the @ReDimensionGames team on their official Instagram page.

It may be noted that “Sojourn Past” emerged as the winner in the “Upcoming Game of the Year” category at the 15th India Game Developer Conference (IGDC) in 2023.

ReDimension Games will also be participating at the upcoming Game Developers Conference in San Francisco, CA., USA on 18-22 March 2024.

ReDimension

ReDimension Games came into existence in 2018 when three creative minds, Pekrukhrietuo (Programming and Design), Imlijungshi (Art and Animation), and Loyievi (Music Composer), joined forces to create captivating gaming experiences. Over the subsequent years, the team developed several small games and experimented with various prototypes.

  1. First of all I want to say excellent blog! I had a quick question in which I’d like to ask if you do not mind.
I was interested to find out how you center
yourself and clear your head before writing. I have had
a tough time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out.
I do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes
are lost simply just trying to figure out how to
begin. Any recommendations or tips? Kudos!
