On the occasion of National Voters Day, Department of Political Science, Fazl Ali College initiated its observance at the college. As per the theme of the event “Nothing like Voting, I Vote for Sure” the speaker Ms Lipokrenla Jamir, Asso. Professor emphasized on the importance of each voter to make a conscious decision to vote and actively participate in spreading its awareness. She highlighted on the history of the National Voters Day and its importance. She further iterated that the health of our government and that of our democracy itself depend on each voters’ active participation. The participants were encouraged to exercise their right to vote in the upcoming elections. The programme concluded with the participants taking the voter’s pledge. It was attended by teaching, non- teaching and students of the college.
