Coinciding with the celebration of the 78 Naga Independence Day, the GPRN/NSCN officials from all Naga regions passed a strong resolution to fully support the collective leadership of Major (Retd.) R.M Lotha, President GPRN, Chennyeim Konyak, Vice President GPRN, N. Kitovi Zhimomi, Ato Kilonser GPRN, and Jungshiwati Ao, Deputy Ato Kilonser GPRN, an update from the MIP said.

The officials from all the Naga Regions are as follows:
1. Seyei Angami (RAO. Angami Region)
2. Wapang Ao (Supervisor. Ao Region)
3. Mongnei Konyak (RAO, Konyak Region)
4. Lulin (Supervisor. Kuki Region)
5. Heto Kiba (RAO. Sumi Region)
6. Pulang (RAO. Khiamniungan)
7. Renben Lotha (RAO. Lotha Region)
8. Kuhoto (RAO. N.S.S.R)
9. Hamnyei Phom (RAO. Phom Region)
10. Khaseo Sangtam (Supervisor. Sangtam Region)
11. Hevito Yepthomi (Chairman. UT-1) and
12. Kiumusu (RAO. Yimkhiung Region)

According to the update, the GPRN/NSCN Naga region officials emphasized their commitment to “stand unequivocally with the collective leaders” and pledged to uphold the Agreed Position signed on November 17, 2017, between the Government of India and the Working Committee, NNPGs. The officials further resolved to “actively strive towards nurturing peace and harmony and secure a brighter future for the upcoming young Naga generation.”

Meanwhile, N Kitovi Zhimomi, Ato Kilonser GPRN also terminated Moatoshi Tzudir, Kilonser (Keeya Affairs), GPRN/NSCN, from the party membership for “defiling the sanctity and integrity of the government”.

It mentioned that Tzudir was terminated in order to safeguard the government, as per the provision laid down in the party discipline Section -A (clause-1&2), Section-C (clause-4) & Section D (clause-1). Tzudir’s termination from active party membership (NSCN) comes into immediate effect from 24 August, 2024.
