Nature SBI Foundation conducts health awareness camp in Tütheze Village

A health awareness programme was conducted at Tütheze Village under Longmatra Block on 14 January 2026, organised by Nature SBI Foundation, Kiphire, Nagaland.


The event registered 77 beneficiaries, while 12 participants received free laboratory tests provided by the visiting medical team.

The programme focused on “Youth and Adolescence Health – Substance Abuse, Addiction and Mental Health.” The session was led and facilitated by Longtili C Sangtam, Project Lead Nagaland, who guided the flow of the programme, encouraged interaction, and highlighted the importance of safeguarding the health and future of young people.

The Medical Officer of Nature SBI Foundation, Kiphire, delivered the main talk on the theme, explaining the causes and effects of substance abuse, the dangers of addiction, and the rising concerns around mental health issues in rural communities. The officer stressed discipline, early awareness, and timely support as key tools for prevention.

The camp also offered basic health check-ups, consultations, and counselling for participants seeking guidance on personal and family wellness. Village representatives expressed appreciation to Nature SBI Foundation for bringing such an important programme to the community and affirmed their support for more initiatives that empower youth and protect local families.

The programme concluded with group discussions, questions from young participants, and a community pledge to stay alert, informed, and united in the fight against addiction.
