Mokokchung, 21 March (MTNews): The Mokokchung District Cricket Association (MDCA) hosted the visit of the Joint Secretary, Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA), and District In-charge of Mokokchung and Wokha, Watinuksung Jamir, to the district.

The visit, which took place on 21 March, aimed at reviewing the progress of various developmental activities pertaining to cricket within the district.

During the visit, the Joint Secretary had the opportunity to inspect the practice pitch and took stock of the ongoing developmental initiatives undertaken by MDCA. Of notable emphasis during the visit was the proposition to introduce the concept of corporate cricket within the district.

The Joint Secretary highlighted the potential of corporate cricket in not only bolstering participation but also in forging partnerships between local businesses and cricketing bodies. The visit concluded with assurances of continued support from the Joint Secretary towards the cricketing endeavors in Mokokchung.

MDCA extended its gratitude to the Joint Secretary for the insightful deliberations and expressed eagerness to implement the proposed initiatives for the betterment of cricket in the district.
