The Nagaland Christian Revival Church (NCRC) on Sunday ordained Muleto Nienu, Field Evangelist of the Council of Chakhesang Christian Revival Churches (CCCRC), as Reverend. The ordination service was held at Chakhesang Christian Revival Church, Upper PWD, Kohima.
The Act of Ordination was conducted by Rev Z David Koza, Executive Secretary of CCCRC and a member of the NCRC Ordination Board, who administered the priestly oath of allegiance to Rev Nienu. Speaking at the event, Rev Zaseyi Veswuh, Chairman of CCCRC, highlighted the significance of ordination and anointing, drawing parallels to the biblical anointing of Saul by Samuel. He commended Rev Nienu for reaching a new milestone in ministry and encouraged him, referencing Ephesians 4:29, to carry out his responsibilities with humility, ensuring that his ministry brings healing and peace to the world. Rev Veswuh also urged Rev Nienu’s family to support his calling and challenged all ordained priests to remain mindful of their responsibilities, keeping their households in order and upholding Christian virtues. The congregation was exhorted to honor their church leaders, act with love, and work collectively for the Gospel.
Earlier, Rev Senuto Ringa, General Secretary of NCRC, delivered greetings and affirmed that priestly ordination is a Godly calling, approved by NCRC, meant to advance God’s Kingdom and reach out to the unreached. Rev Vekhohu Dawhuo presented the bio-data of Rev Nienu, highlighting his 37-year ministry with the Indian Inland Ministry and Life in Christ Ministry. His roles included Youth Supervisor under the Council of Chakhesang CRC Youth Fellowship, President of the Children Association, President of the Theological Fellowship, and Associate Pastor at CCRC Upper PWD. Ordained with license in 2018, he has served as Field Evangelist for CCCRC since 2021.
The congregation enjoyed special musical performances by CCCRC Field Staff, Mission Centre Chetheba, Parents’ Choir of Chesezu Welfare Kohima, and CCRCYF Upper PWD. The program was presided over by Rev Seve Koza, with invocation by Rev Zhowhuyi Nyekha, and conducted by Rev Ciekhünü Sakhamo. The offertory prayer was offered by Rev Pfolo Koza, marking a spiritually enriching occasion for all present.
