Mangkolemba, 20 August (MTNews): The Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) of the 29 Jangpetkong Assembly Constituency organized an ‘Induction cum Felicitation’ program for its office bearers. The event took place in the presence of NDPP Mokokchung Region President Mayangnungba and several other party leaders at Mangkolemba.
Aodangnok Ozukum will be leading the NDPP 29 Jangpetkong AC office as President. His fellow colleagues, including the Vice Presidents, General Secretary, and Secretaries, received formal appointment letters signed by NDPP President Chingwang Konyak, a press release from the party stated.
Addressing the gathering, Mayangnungba urged the newly inducted office bearers to serve the people in line with the true principles of the NDPP. He emphasized that the NDPP is a cadre-based party where the significance of grassroots-level workers is paramount. Therefore, he urged the party leaders to concentrate on grassroots efforts, aiming to achieve the NDPP’s stated goal of ‘Towards a State of Excellence’ in the days ahead.
Aodangnok, President of NDPP 29 Jangpetkong AC, expressed gratitude in his acceptance speech. He thanked the NDPP Mokokchung Region office for their presence and requested their continued support, guidance, and advice. He also urged his colleagues to work together harmoniously for the progress and development of the constituency and Nagaland as a whole.
Rev. Mar, the Pastor of Mangkolemba Baptist Church, offered a prayer invoking God’s blessings upon the newly inducted office bearers. The event also featured short speeches from various NDPP leaders including Vice President NDPP Mokokchung Region, Lipokzulu; Treasurer NDPP Mokokchung Region, Pangerzulu; President NDPP Women Organization, Mokokchung Regopn, Arenla Pongen; President NDPP Youth Org., Mokokchung Region, Bendang Walling; and President NDPP Agri & Allied Org., Imsunungsang.
The program was chaired by NDPP Mokokchung Region Vice President Imtiwati, while the welcome address was delivered by NDPP Vice President Rongsentemsu Lemtur.
