In commemoration of Mother’s Day, the NDPP Wokha Region observed an advanced Mother’s Day program at its office building on Saturday, attended by NDPP officials from Wokha district.

During a brief service held at the office, NDPP women were presented with gifts by the NDPP Regional President, John Ezung.

K. Thungchibemo Murry, Advisor of NDPP Wokha Region, delivered a message of love and blessings, emphasizing how God-fearing women lead families with grace. He encouraged women to continue nurturing their families through fear and love of God, setting examples for the community and society. Additionally, he called upon the male attendees to respect and love their wives, recognizing the vital role women play in family and child-rearing.

The service included a short speech by Lily Kikon, President of NDPP Women Organization Wokha, and Grace Murry, General Secretary of NDPP Central Women Organization. They expressed appreciation to the NDPP Wokha Region for organizing the service to honor the NDPP Women Organization Wokha.

The program was chaired by John Ezung, President of NDPP Wokha region, with an invocation prayer offered by Oren Lotha, Vice President of NDPP Wokha.
