Dimapur, 27 April (MTNews): The North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC), Dimapur has invited applications for availing the Guru Shishya Parampara Scheme for 2022-2023. Candidates within the age group of 45 to 70 years having very good knowledge for imparting training in any cultural field of the region, i.e., folk dance/songs, bamboo/cane/wood craft, folk theatre, woodcraft, mask making etc., with emphasis on “dying and vanishing” art forms of the region have been asked to apply.
The application along with bio-data and supporting documents has been asked to be sent or submitted to the Directorate of Art & Culture/Cultural Affairs of the concerned State.

On selection and appointment as Guru, he/she will appoint an Assistant and 4 (four) Shishyas (within the age group of 15-25 yrs) and impart training for one year. The rate of honoraria per month for one year is as follows:
Guru @Rs 7500 per month, Accompanist (assistant) @ Rs 3750 per month, and Shishyas @ Rs 1,500/- per head per Shishyas.
