Mokokchung, 15 September (MTNews): The Nagaland Football Association has informed that the 3rd edition of the Nagaland Futsal Championship 2023 is scheduled to be held from 17 to 20 October 2023. The event will be hosted by the Chumoukedima District Football Association (CDFA) and organized by the Nagaland Football Association (NFA).
The championship will be club-based with one club representing each respective district and the champion of the tournament will represent Nagaland State during the National Futsal Championship, NFA informed.
NFA further informed that the winner and runner-up of this tournament will be awarded a cash prize of Rs100000 and Rs50000 respectively. Any club representing the district should produce a recommendation letter from the District Football Association, NFA said.
