The Nagaland Foothills Road Coordination Committee (NFHRCC) conducted a joint inspection of the ongoing Foothills Road construction under the Longleng Division on June 2, 2025, reaffirming its “decade-old commitment” to the people of Nagaland.

The inspection team included officials from the Nagaland Public Works Department (Roads & Bridges), representatives from the contractor firm, and local Village Council members. According to a press release issued by the NFHRCC Media Cell, the purpose of the inspection was to monitor the progress and quality of work being undertaken along the foothills route.
