NIELIT Dimapur conducted its first-ever SAMARTH training programme and distributed 391 AIoT kits to students of Christian Higher Secondary School (CHSS) and Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS) Dimapur on March 7.

The five-day program introduced students to Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, Digital Hardware, and Cybersecurity. Each school also received a School Innovation Kit, and participating students were awarded certificates for completing the training. The schools were nominated by the Department of School Education, Government of Nagaland.

Supported by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), the SAMARTH Project aims to strengthen digital literacy, innovation, and technology-based learning among students. NIELIT plans to extend similar training programmes to more schools across Nagaland in the coming months.
