Mokokchung, 12 March (MTNews): The North East Sports Association (NESA), formerly North East Olympic Association, on Tuesday unveiled the trophies for the North East Games 2024.
“The North East Games 2024 trophies, crafted with meticulous detail, embodies the values of unity, diversity, and sporting prowess that are synonymous with the Northeastern states of India,” an update received here said. “It represents a celebration of the rich cultural heritage and vibrant spirit of sportsmanship that defines the region,” it added.
The North East Games 2024, scheduled to take place in Nagaland from 18 to 23 March 2024 will bring together athletes from eight Northeastern states to compete in 15 games. This event aims to foster camaraderie, promote unity, and celebrate the spirit of sportsmanship among participants and spectators alike
The prestigious awards up for grabs at the North East Games 2024 are the Team Championship Winner, Team Championship 1st Runner-up, Team Championship 2nd Runner-up, Outstanding Sportsmen, Outstanding Sportswomen, Fair Play Trophy, and Spirit of Sportsmanship Award. These accolades aim to recognize and honor the exceptional achievements and exemplary conduct demonstrated by participants throughout the event.
