The North East Zone Cultural Centre (NEZCC), under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India, has invited applications from renowned scholars interested in undertaking research-oriented documentation work for the period 2025–2026 under the NEZCC, Dimapur.

The documentation work will focus on Folk and Tribal Music and Dances, as well as vanishing art forms of the North East region, covering Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura.

Applicants must be Indian citizens and indigenous inhabitants of the respective states concerned. The selection of project proposals will be finalised by a panel of experts constituted by the NEZCC.

Application forms and other details can be collected from the offices of the Directorate of Art and Culture/Cultural Affairs of the respective state governments, Shilpgram, Panjabari, Guwahati, and the NEZCC Head Office, Dimapur. The forms are also available on the NEZCC website nezccdimapur.org.in and the official Facebook page www.facebook.com/NEZCC.

The last date for submission of applications is August 31, 2026. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.

The Director, NEZCC, reserves the right to accept or reject any application without assigning any reason.
