The Naga Peoples’ Front (NPF) has expressed its appreciation to the State Government for its decision to raise the age limit for job seekers entering government services.
“This move aligns with the commitment of the NPF, as stated in our 2023 Election Manifesto: the upper age limit for the indigenous citizens for employment in the state government services will be raised to 40 (forty) years of age,” a statement from the NPF said.
According to NPF, this policy will open new opportunities for many Naga youths who were previously unable to seek government employment and contribute significantly to improving access to jobs and fostering socio-economic development across Nagaland.
“The decision is a positive step towards creating a more inclusive and equitable society, in line with the NPF’s vision for Nagaland,” it added.
