The Naga People’s Front (NPF) Central Team, led by Party President Apong Pongener, held consultative meetings with divisional office bearers in Zunheboto and Mokokchung on May 20 as part of its efforts to enhance organizational coordination and grassroots engagement.


The first meeting, held at the NPF Divisional Office in Zunheboto, was chaired by Division President Khuketo Yepthomi. Central leaders including Hotovi Chishi and Akavi Sumi addressed the gathering, offering strategic inputs. In his keynote address, Pongener emphasized unity and active participation in party affairs, reaffirming the NPF’s commitment to the aspirations of the Naga people.

Later in the day, a similar session was conducted at the NPF Divisional Office in Mokokchung. Chaired by Division President Tangit Imsong, the meeting saw contributions from party leaders Imtisungkum, Lanukaba, and Tsuklongti. President Pongener encouraged divisional leaders to reinforce the party’s grassroots presence and uphold its vision.

Both meetings featured interactive segments, allowing local leaders to raise concerns and share suggestions directly with the Central leadership. The sessions concluded with a renewed sense of commitment and cooperation from party workers at all levels.
