Kohima, February 16 (MTNews): Through his poster campaign and tweet, the Leader of the NPF Legislature Party and Co-Chairman of UDA Kuzholuzo Azo Nienu has appealed to all the NPF candidates, including all the star campaigners and all party rank and file not to deliver hate speeches of any kind or belittle any party or any individual or community “to enhance the name of the party.”

“We, being the oldest and most mature regional party in the NE, believe in our motto ‘Fide non armis’ and peaceful elections. We don’t encourage hate speeches targeting any other party,” Nienu tweeted.

He also encouraged the holding of “free and fair elections” in the upcoming Nagaland General Assembly Election and stated that the NPF’s manifesto, goals, and objectives are to be a part of the formation of any government.

Nienu will be contesting the Nagaland Legislative Assembly elections for the 5th time in the 19-Phek assembly constituency. This year he is up against Kupota Khesoh of NDPP and Zachillhu Ringa Vadeo of INC. He has been elected to Nagaland Legislative Assembly 4 times from the same constituency – 2003, 2008, 2013 and 2018.
