Mokokchung, 5 April (MTNews): NPF legislator Azo Nienu acknowledged that only 7.9% of votes were received by the NPF party in Mokokchung. However, he said that this 7.9% is committed to PDA. He made this statement during the mass rally organized for Dr Chumben Murry in Mokokchung today.

He also thanked the PDA coordination team for inviting him to campaign, expressing his acknowledgment for “treating allies as equal partners.” NPF, with two elected legislators, has also extended their support to PDA.

Nienu also cautioned the PDA to not be “overconfident”, stating that this Lok Sabha election is “crucial”. He reasoned that all 60 MLAs have come together to support the PDA candidate to address the “long-protracted Naga Political Solution”. He viewed that with the absolute majority of the PDA candidate, it will send a clear message to Delhi.
