The Naga People’s Front (NPF) Meluri Division held a coordination meeting at the Meluri Village Council Hall on September 26, with party office bearers, frontal wing representatives, councillors, unit representatives and village leaders in attendance.
The meeting discussed strengthening the party organisation, grassroots engagement, unity and coordination among party workers. Speakers stressed adherence to party ideology, principles and discipline, and called for greater commitment to strengthening the party at all levels.
The meeting adopted a resolution reaffirming its support and solidarity with NPF president and Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio, acknowledging his leadership in guiding the party and state towards peace, progress and development. It resolved to improve coordination, maintain party discipline and strengthen grassroots outreach.
The division also recognised the developmental activities under the leadership of Z. Nyusietho Nyuthe, MLA and Advisor, and noted the continued joining of new members. It resolved to work with dedication towards the party’s “Vision 2028”.
Addressing the meeting, Nyuthe said the NPF was one of the oldest regional political parties in the country and represented Naga identity. He stressed the party’s role in upholding Naga identity and preserving its culture.
Nyuthe also urged party workers to strive for economic independence and called for public cooperation with government development activities. He encouraged members to remain committed to grassroots work and strengthening the party.
