The Youth Wing of the Naga People’s Front (NPF), Phek Division, organised a medical camp and Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS) awareness and registration drive at Enhulumi Village on Saturday.

NPF Youth Wing holds CMHIS awareness, medical camp in Enhulumi Village

The programme, initiated by the NPF Central Youth Wing, included free medical services, a CMHIS awareness session and on-the-spot registration for eligible beneficiaries. Around 200 people availed themselves of the medical camp and CMHIS-related services, according to the party.

Speaking at the inaugural programme, NPF Central Youth Wing Working President Supoyi Vezhu highlighted the importance of public healthcare and urged people to make use of the benefits available under CMHIS. He also reaffirmed the Youth Wing’s support for NPF president and Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio.

The Phek Division Youth Wing expressed gratitude to Minister of Power and Parliamentary Affairs K. G. Kenye, MLA and Advisor Kudecho Khamo, MLA and Advisor Kuzholuzo Nienu, Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency Chairman Nuzota Swuro and former minister Neiba Kronu for their support.

It also acknowledged the Department of Health and Family Welfare officials and staff for their assistance and appreciated the Central Youth Wing for initiating the grassroots outreach programme.
