Chizami, March 11 (MTNews): The National People’s Party of 17 – Chizami Assembly Constituency under Phek district held its Review cum Planning Meeting on 11 March at Sakraba Town Hall where it resolved to maintain cordial relationships with all other parties in the constituency.
The meeting also resolved to support and uphold the leadership of Vevoyi Wideo, the NPP candidate in the constituency during the recent State Assembly elections, and to continue to work for the growth of the party in the constituency and beyond under his leadership.
Further, the NPP 17 Chizami AC also expressed its gratitude to the Chief Minister of Nagaland Neiphiu Rio for appointing the elected representative of the 17 Chizami A/C as a Cabinet Minister in his ministry. While congratulating KG Kenye and wishing him the best in his endeavour, the meeting also expressed its hope that he will deliver the aspiration of the people of the constituency.
The meeting also expressed its gratitude to all the electorates who supported its party candidate Vevoyi Wideo during the recently concluded State Assembly elections.
The NPP 17 Chizami AC also expressed happiness and congratulated the NPP Chief Conrad Sangma for being elected as the Chief Minister of Meghalaya for the second consecutive term.
It further congratulated Neiphiu Rio on becoming the Chief Minister for the fifth time and resolved to extend its support and cooperation to the NDPP-BJP Government as decided by the party.
The meeting was attended by AC Task Force, Advisors, Planning Committee and Village/Town/Booth Level Task Force Committee members.
