The National People’s Party (NPP) Nagaland Unit and Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton have extended their congratulations to the leadership and members of the Naga People’s Front (NPF) and Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) on their formal merger.
In his message, NPP State President A. Nyamnyei Konyak said that with a stronger and unified position, the newly consolidated party will be better placed to pursue and realize its goals and commitments to the people of Nagaland.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chief Minister and BJP Legislature Party Leader Y Patton described the merger as a notable political development in the state. He also congratulated Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on being chosen as the Leader of the NPF Legislature Party.
