The GPRN/NSCN, through its Ministry of Information and Publicity (MIP), issued a statement announcing a civic reception held at Council Headquarters, Hebron, to welcome 83 homecomers from various camps.


According to the MIP, the returning members included “various Kilonsers, Dy. Kilonsers, Tatars, Leacy, Razou Peyu and Khapur.” The military wing of the homecomers was led by “a Colonel alongside two Lt. Colonel, four Major, one Captain, two 2nd Lieutenant, three Sgt. Major, seven Sergeant and one Corporal.” The reception, it stated, was “focused on fostering trust and unity among all National Workers.”

In the same statement, the GPRN/NSCN also “strongly condemned the killing of its three cadres on the 29th April 2025, in between New Kubin and Herakilua village NC Hills by the Indian security forces and the Assam police.” It questioned the Government of India’s commitment to the ongoing ceasefire agreement, stating that it is meant to apply “as two entities which is without territorial limits and applies wherever Nagas are.”

The MIP further alleged that “the Indian security forces is responsible for the killing of 201 (two hundred and one) Naga Army cadres on different pretext during this period of ceasefire,” accusing them of violating the spirit and letter of the agreement.
