Mokokchung, 23 February (MTNews): Condemning the killing of Kilonser Khampei Opeiham Konyak by unidentified assailants, the NSCN-IM called the incident “unfortunate and appalling.”
In a press statement, the NSCN-IM reiterated that it is against senseless killings among the Nagas at a time when all energies should be devoted towards achieving lasting peace and reconciliation.
“This kind of killing is in contrast to what the Nagas stand for in the context of the ongoing peace process,” the NSCN-IM stated.
