Mokokchung, 8 April (MTNews): In response to a news broadcast titled “AR apprehends member of NSCN (Niki Sumi) involved in extortion” on 8 April 2024, the NSCN/GPRN-K (Niki) through its MIP clarified that the person reportedly apprehended by Assam Rifles personnel in Project Colony, Zunheboto on 6 April 2024 was not a member of the group and “does not have any connection whatsoever with the NSCN/GPRN.”
