Kohima, 21 October (MTNews): The Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA), a part of the Home Department, informed all concerned stakeholders that the date for the Nagaland Emergency Preparedness Exercise (NEPEx) Video Conference Coordination meeting has been rescheduled to the 27 October 2023. The previously announced date of 20 October should now be disregarded.

The link to access the program will be provided in due course, ahead of the program’s commencement. The NSDMA extended an invitation to Additional Heads of Departments (AHoDs), Heads of Departments (HoDs), Nodal Officers for Disaster Management, District Disaster Management Authorities, NDRF, CAPFs, Army, and IAF, to kindly attend the Video Conference via the provided link.

It’s important to note that the schedules for the remaining components of the Nagaland Emergency Preparedness Exercise (NEPEx) remain unchanged. The Table Top Exercise, scheduled to take place at ATI (Kohima) on the 31st of October, and the State Mega Mock Exercise on the 2nd of November 2023, will proceed as originally planned, it informed.
