The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has informed that physical verification of documents for candidates selected through the NEET for various courses will be conducted at the NSF office in Kohima from 22 to 23 August 2024. The verification process will be overseen by the NSF Education Committee.
Candidates are required to appear in person, accompanied by their parents or guardians. They must bring the following original documents for verification: Recent passport-sized photograph, NEET documents, HSLC & HSSLC Admit Cards, Scheduled Tribe certificate, and Indigenous Certificate.
The NSF emphasized that only candidates who are “Nagas by Blood of Nagaland state” are eligible for the seats allotted under the Nagaland state quota.
“The NSF has observed instances of non-indigenous candidates applying under the state quota, and this practice will not be tolerated,” the NSF added.
It added that candidates who fail to complete the verification process within the specified dates will be deemed ineligible and appropriate actions will be taken against defaulters.
