Mokokchung, July 17 (MTNews): The Janata Dal (United) party has appointed its Nagaland state unit president NSN Lotha as its national secretary on July 17. JD(U) general secretary Afaque Ahmad Khan on Sunday announced that the chief minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar and national president of JD(U) Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh MP (Lok Sabha) are “very elated with the stunning achievement of the party in the just concluded Manipur Assembly Election 2022 under the strategic and dynamic chairmanship of Senchumo (NSN) Lotha.”
The JD(U) general secretary further said that, in recognition of NSN Lotha’s valuable contribution to the party, “the national president is pleased to appoint him as National Secretary of the JD(U) with immediate effect.” All the existing responsibilities that are entrusted upon him by the party prior to this appointment shall continue as it is, it was informed. Further, the general secretary wished him success toward his endeavor in the further expansion of the JD(U) in different parts of the north eastern STATES.
