The Naga Students’ Union Punjab (NSUP) has announced a voluntary evacuation initiative for Naga students currently residing in Punjab, offering assistance to those who wish to return home due to the prevailing situation. In a notification, the NSUP assured its members that it is actively coordinating with concerned authorities to ensure all necessary arrangements and safety measures are in place.

Students who choose to remain in Punjab have been advised to strictly follow all government-issued guidelines and take the necessary precautions to ensure their safety and well-being. The Union added that those who prefer not to avail of the Union’s assistance but still plan to leave Punjab should make independent arrangements by checking the availability of train, bus, or flight tickets and planning their travel accordingly.

NSUP urged everyone not to panic, adding that the Union is actively coordinating with concerned authorities and has ensured that all necessary arrangements and safety measures are in place.
