Mokokchung, 14 March (MTNews): The School of Engineering & Technology (SET), Dimapur and the Department of Physics at Nagaland University, Lumami, organized a live streaming event on 13 March, a press release received here said. The event, titled “India’s Techade-Chips for Viksit Bharat,” featured an address by the Prime Minister of India.

Dean of the School of Engineering & Technology, Professor V K Vidyarthi, expressed his satisfaction with the event, emphasizing its importance for technology students. He highlighted that this live streaming program provided invaluable insights and knowledge to all participating students.

The event saw the active participation of Professor Y Sundaraiyya and his esteemed faculty teams from the Department of Physics at the NU Lumami headquarters. Their presence added depth and expertise to the discussions surrounding semiconductor technology and its implications for India’s technological advancement, the press release said.

Approximately 250 students from Nagaland University had the opportunity to witness the Prime Minister’s speech on semiconductor technology. The event served as a platform for students to gain valuable insights into the cutting-edge developments in the field and their relevance to India’s technological landscape, it said.

The School of Engineering and Technology and the Department of Physics remain committed to fostering such initiatives that promote learning, innovation, and engagement among students and faculty members, it added.
