The Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC) has issued a notification announcing a revision in the Rate of Pan due to recent increases in the costs of ingredients used in its preparation.
Under the revised rates, the ‘normal pan’ will now cost Rs 15 each, while the ‘special pan’ will be priced at Rs 25 each.
”This adjustment is necessitated in order to offset the rising expenses incurred in the procurement of quality ingredients and ensure the sustainability of our services,” ADC & Chief Executive Officer of MMC, Chumlamo Humtsoe stated in the notification.
All vendors and concerned parties have been instructed to implement these revised rates with immediate effect.
Prior to the revision, the normal pan and the special pan were priced at Rs 10 and Rs 20, respectively.
