The People’s Democratic Alliance (PDA) Government of Nagaland has extended its “heartfelt congratulations” to the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) Government, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on the completion of “11 years in office and the first anniversary of its third consecutive term.”

In an official statement issued by PDA spokesperson and Minister K.G. Kenye, the alliance said, “We join the rest of the nation and our NDA partners in commemorating this significant occasion.” The PDA expressed “deep appreciation to the NDA leadership and all alliance partners for their unwavering commitment to the principles of inclusive development, collective responsibility, and strong governance.”

The PDA also acknowledged the trust of the electorate, stating, “We also thank the people of Nagaland and the country for their continued trust in the NDA’s vision.”

Reflecting on its tenure, the PDA highlighted that “the PDA Government, under the NDPP-BJP alliance along with the supporting parties of the NPP, JD(U), LJP, NPF, RPI and the four Independents MLAs under the leadership of Hon’ble Chief Minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio, has been delivering progressive development in Nagaland for the past seven years.”

The statement credited this progress to the alliance’s strong coordination with the Centre, which has enabled “Nagaland and its people to be active contributors in the nation-building process.”

Looking ahead, the PDA said, “We remain inspired by the role of our youth and citizens in shaping a brighter future for India.” It added, “As we move forward, we look forward to strengthening democratic values, fostering inclusive growth, and realizing our shared goal of making India Rise.”

Separately, the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP) also issued its congratulations to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for “successfully leading the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in completing eleven years of governing India,” and “for having observed the first anniversary of the third consecutive term as the Prime Minister of India.”

The NDPP stated that it “joins the rest of the NDA in celebrating this historic and joyous occasion and looks forward to the future with renewed hope.” It praised the Prime Minister’s leadership, saying, “The NDA under the dynamic leadership of the Prime Minister has grown by leaps and bounds and has taken India to become the World’s fourth largest economy.”

“With the many innovative programs being taken up by the present leadership, the NDPP is confident that India will only grow stronger in the days and years to come, reaching many more milestones,” the party said.
