Pfutsero Government College held its 42nd Literary Day under the theme ”Rooted in Tradition. Reaching for Excellence” on March 12 at the college auditorium.

Nunese Sale, CEO of Nune’s Construction and president of Vision Trinity Club, graced the first session as the guest speaker.
Speaking on the occasion, Sale, who is also the president of Sari Educational Foundation and convenor of The Dream Team Nagaland, encouraged students to focus on their education while also promoting their culture through music, art, and dance. He challenged them to turn their dreams into reality by staying dedicated and consistent.
Earlier, the programme was led by Pfutsero Government College Students’ Union (PGCSU) finance secretary Muluvelu Vadeo, while the welcome address was delivered by Meno-u Tepfo, magazine and literary secretary of PGCSU.
All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) president Tenyesinlo Bukh and PTCSU president Deve Riiho also shared greetings.
The occasion featured a design showcase by Wulo Akami Artworks. Razolii Kezo invoked God’s blessings, while Cunulu Puro presented a special number.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Lhimene-u L. Mero, assistant magazine and literary secretary of PGCSU.
The programme was followed by the second session, which included competitions in essay writing, poetry writing, photography, sketching, flower arrangement, debate, slam poetry, dance, stand-up comedy, and singing.
