Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha from Nagaland, S Phangnon Konyak, participated in the 3rd edition of the Digital Democracy Dialogue held in Panaji, Goa, from 24 to 26 September 2025. She spoke in one of the sessions on the theme “Women-led Development, Women-led Society.”
The event was organised by Rambhau Mhalgi Prabodhini with the support of the Entertainment Society of Goa and the Government of Goa.
During her session, Konyak shared insights on how women can lead a new paradigm of nation-building, as envisioned by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with Nari Shakti empowered as decision-makers and society shapers.
She also highlighted the role of technology and digitisation in strengthening democracy by amplifying voices and widening participation. She stressed the importance of using these tools responsibly to ensure inclusive and sustainable democratic growth.
