Phek, 28 October (MTNews): Government Higher Secondary School, Phek Town and Government High School, Losami won the Inter School Football Tournament under Boys and Girls categories respectively.
The 4-day long tournament was organized by the 38 Assam Rifles, Phek Battalion which commenced on 25 October at the Assam Rifles ground, Phek Town.
The winners were awarded with trophies, cash prizes and citations. The tournament was organized with the goal of promoting physical fitness and sports among the local populace and students, which, in turn, contributed to character development and boosted their confidence.
