The Photography Club Kiphire celebrated its first-ever photography program and exhibition at the Agape Higher Secondary School Auditorium on World Photography Day.
Guest speaker Moses Newmai, District Cultural Officer, extended his appreciation to the photography community of Kiphire for organising such encouraging events that provide a platform for upcoming photographers and enthusiasts to learn and grow. Newmai further urged the community to coordinate and work together in the future to create a positive impact on society. Sharing his personal story as someone who loves photography as a hobby, he added that photographs are precious for every individual as they preserve memories and happiness even as time passes.
P. Lipichem, Proprietor of Agape Higher Secondary School, in his short speech, shared that “the pioneer photographers in the district should take responsibility in leading the upcoming young photographers by guiding, inspiring, and giving a helping hand towards the right path for growth and sustainability.”
President of the Photography Club Kiphire, Kitoka Sangtam, extended his gratitude to all supporters, well-wishers, and attendees for their dedication and encouragement, which contributed to the success of the club’s first edition program.
The Photography Club Kiphire envisions uplifting upcoming photographers across all communities and genders who are interested in the field and are passionate about photography, whether as a career or as a hobby. The club seeks to encourage, learn, and grow together while making a positive impact on society.
