Süngratsü, February 3 (MTNews): A six-day skill training of rural youth (STRY) on the topic “Piggery Production and Management” was organized at Süngratsü village under Mokokchung district from January 28 to February 3, 2023.

 

A six-day skill training of rural youth (STRY) on the topic “Piggery Production and Management” was organized by KVK Mokokchung at Süngratsü village under Mokokchung district from January 28 to February 3, 2023.

 

The training was organized by Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK) Mokokchung under the aegis of Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Government of India in collaboration with National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE), Hyderabad and State Agriculture Management and Training Institute (SAMETI), Nagaland.

 

The training program was organized with the aim of imparting skill-based training to rural youths on agro-based vocation areas in compliance with national policy skill development and entrepreneurship in agriculture and allied areas in rural areas.

 

The training was conducted with practical classes so that participants develop skills on various management of piggery farming practices. Altogether, 27 participants took part in the training program and received certificates.
