As news of Khazo’s untimely demise spread, Roko Angami, the President of the Nagaland Football Coaches Association, currently attending a training program in Shillong, took a moment to pen a touching tribute to his dear friend.

In a heartfelt letter addressed to “My Dear Friend Aba,” the NFCA president wrote, “As you look down from Heaven onto all of the football fields you ever set foot upon, I hope you smile at the lives you have touched and the legacy you have left behind. May God place his hand on your shoulder and say, well done!”

The poignant letter further revealed the strong bond between the two men. In 1994, Khazo and president Roko Angami represented the Indian football team Under-16 during a tournament in Israel.
