Dimapur, December 13 (MTNews): Nagaland’s first match of the Ranji Trophy 2022-23 season against Uttarakhand got underway this morning at the Nagaland Cricket Stadium, Sovima. The hosts restricted the Uttarakhand side to 282 runs, thanks to some good bowling attack led by AM Singh 3/45) and Jonathan (3/48).
Kunal Chandela (92) and D Negi (83) were the top scorers for Uttarakhand. Nagaland’s opening pair Yughandar (8*) and Joshua (0*) remained not out at stumps on Day 1.
Earlier, Uttarakhand won the toss and elected to bat.
