Explaining the purpose of the visit, Movi said that it was an exposure trip for the Razeba area elders to learn about community participation in village maintenance.

Appreciating Mopungchuket village for their strong sense of community participation, Movi stated that the exposure trip was an opportunity for the Razeba area elders to witness firsthand how a well-organized village functions through collective effort. He highlighted the importance of community-led initiatives in maintaining infrastructure, preserving cultural heritage, and promoting local economic activities. Movi further noted that learning from Mopungchuket’s successful community-driven projects would help the Razeba elders implement similar initiatives in their own villages, encouraging greater self-reliance and development.

As part of the engagement, the visitors brought locally produced cabbages while the hosts offered fan-palm leaf brooms and the local delicacy ‘amzü’. This, according to Movi, was to promote each other’s local products. Razeba area is known for producing cabbage and potato while Mopungchuket is known for producing the brooms and ‘amzü’.

The delegation also visited Impur Mission Center located adjacent to Mopungchuket village.

The exposure trip was organized by Razeba Public Organization under RGSA Program 2025 and was sponsored by SIRD, government of Nagaland.
