Based on the revised guidelines of the CSS Post-Matric Scholarship for ST students (dated 01-04-2022), the Scheme Implementing Agency, the Department of Higher Education, informs the general public and the student community that, as per Guideline P-12, Sl. No. 6, Note 1 — “Self-declarations or affidavits of self-assessment of income shall not be accepted” — the department shall strictly adhere to this rule with effect from the Academic Session 2025–26. The detailed guidelines of the Funding Agency are available on the Directorate’s website.
Furthermore, every income declaration must carry the caption “FAMILY INCOME CERTIFICATE.” All concerned individuals are requested to take note of this change.

Non-compliance with this directive shall result in the rejection of the application.
